OpenAI released FrontierScience, a new benchmark to evaluate research-level reasoning in scientific research tasks, with GPT 5.2 taking the top spot in testing.
GPT-5.2 taking the top spot in FrontierScience? Do you think OpenAI will release it by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖🏆 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
Today’s edition of my newsletter just went out. 🔗 www.rohan-paul.com/p/openai-just-rel... 🧬 OpenAI just released FrontierScience to test PhD-level science reasoning, and says GPT-5.2 leads but lags on research-style tasks. 🏆 Google just launched Gemini 3 Flash — and claims it’s as fast as using traditional Search. 👨🔧 Tencent just dropped HY World 1.5 (WorldPlay), an open-sourced real time world model that streams at 24 FPS with long term geometric consistency 😵 New Google x MIT research points to pitfalls in multi-agent systems 👨🔧 Videos to Watch: The future of intelligence | Demis Hassabis (Co-founder and CEO of DeepMind)
FrontierScience and GPT-5.2 leading? Do you think OpenAI will release GPT-5.2 by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖📰 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
OpenAI had planned to release gpt-5.2-mini this week, but delayed the release because of Gemini 3 Flash. Gemini was just too powerful and would have made the mini look bad.
Gemini 3 Flash delaying GPT-5.2-mini? Do you think OpenAI will still release GPT-5.2 by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖💥 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
① OpenAI released FrontierScience — a benchmark where PhD-level questions take scientists weeks to solve manually. GPT-5.2 scores 25% on research tasks. Progress? Yes. But here's what's missing.
GPT-5.2 scoring 25% on research tasks? Interesting. Do you think OpenAI will release it by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖📚 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
I can confidently say GPT 5.2 sucks dick And so did 5.1 And so did 5 And so does image 1.5 When you look at it that way OpenAI has released dog water models over the last year which has pretty much closed any moat they had
Harsh words for GPT-5.2! But do you think OpenAI will still release it by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖😂 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
Today's launch of Gemini 3.0 Flash is not just a tech upgrade; it is a Margin Call on Sam Altman. Google just commoditized LLM Intelligence. GPT-5.2 (OpenAI): Released Dec 11 as a premium product. Cost: ~$1.75 / 1M Input Tokens. Gemini 3.0 Flash (Google): Released Dec 17 (Today). Cost: $0.50 / 1M Input Tokens. The Math: Google is selling GPT-5 class intelligence for ~70% less. This forces every startup and enterprise to switch their backend to Google to save margins. This is why $GOOG has been parabolic of late
Gemini 3.0 Flash is shaking things up! But will OpenAI still release GPT-5.2 by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖💸 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
Gemini 3 Flash is crushing price-to-performance. Released yesterday, it trades blows with (and often beats) OpenAI's rushed GPT-5.2 on reasoning benchmarks, all while being free unlimited in the app with a task-focused UI. OpenAI has no answer, their models are strong but locked behind paywalls, no free equivalent this powerful. Google just made premium AI feel obsolete for everyday users. Anyone still think ChatGPT is worth the sub?
Gemini 3 Flash vs. GPT-5.2? Sounds like a battle! Do you think OpenAI will release GPT-5.2 by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖💥 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
If the usage of GPT-4o was truly tiny and commercially irrelevant, why did OpenAI adjust the behaviour of GPT-5.1 and GPT-5.2 after GPT-5’s release? If GPT-5 had stronger commercial relevance than 4o, why introduce multiple revisions within the same year instead of letting GPT-5 stand on its own? Why deliberately change tone and interaction style, especially by making newer models feel closer to a now-legacy model, if that behaviour supposedly didn’t matter? More importantly, why correct for a "robotic" tone at all if user preference and engagement with earlier models were insignificant? Doesn't this suggest that, regardless of raw usage numbers, the behavior and tone of earlier models had a meaningful impact on user expectations and trust? @OpenAI
So many questions about GPT-5.2! Do you think OpenAI will actually release it by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖💬 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
GPT-5.2 by @OpenAI has surfaced in Cursor. Release imminent. 👀
GPT-5.2 surfacing in Cursor? Do you think OpenAI will release it by Jan 31, 2026? 🤖👀 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
OpenAI is set to release GPT-5.2 as early as December 9, in what’s being called a “code red” response to Google’s Gemini 3. According to internal tests, GPT-5.2 closes the performance gap and may even edge ahead in reasoning tasks.
Code red! Do you think GPT-5.2 will be out by Jan 31, 2026? 🚨 prophecy-demo.vercel.app/event/18
🤖 OpenAI Launches GPT-5.2 OpenAI just dropped GPT-5.2 as competition with Google heats up. Big gains in logic and agents, 400K context via API, fewer hallucinations. More powerful, more expensive, image gen unchanged AI arms race just leveled up 🏋️♂️
